Every End Has A Beggining!

*Random thought of the Day: Ok Ok, I still have a blog and I'm on Facebook. I will forever keep my blog because it provides more details of my life. I'm an idiot for giving in to facebook. But too late now. If you haven't added me as a friend-do haha! And don't judge me! haha. The end.*
The countdown is over. I got through finals and I have graduated from Eastern Arizona College, after 3 years of ups and downs and life itself. It's hard to believe, but it was exciting. I don't quite have a diploma...a minor setback I have to get taken care of...but I'll get it eventually. I managed to hold back the waterworks all this week, even when I had to say goodbye. But then they came out today, when while traveling to Show Low. I am really going to miss my friends SOOOO so much! And thatcher which I've truly called home in the last few years. I don't exactly react to change well, so I hope and pray to adjust to the next parts of my life. I could go on and on about the experiences and things i've learned while at EAC. I've had the greatest friends and examples and life changes while there. I had a lot of trials, but as I "grew up" and kept going, I've learned how to make it through them better. I'm SO greatful for the support I had from family and friends while there. I wouldn't have made it through without you. Thank you for helping me accomplish my goals and follow my dreams.

Now, I will be moving to Farmington New Mexico to live with Dad and Anne for the summer. I will find a job and work as much as possible. In September, I head to BYU Idaho! And, I'm changing majors. Yep-no longer will I be a music major. What I'm changing to? I don't know yet. I just know I'm changing from music. I have some time to think and pray about it. It's yet another change and I'm learning to not be in control so much:) Its just what I need to do. I've learned TONS being in the music program at EA though. I know how to arrange music, I've learned the basics of theory, and I have improved immensely with my voice, and will continue to take lessons at BYU is the plan. It's been good.
Well, just wanted to write a quick update. Below are some pics from this past week or so, including graduation! Also will be posted on Facebook:) Have a great weekend everyone!

Letting Go and Holding On

*Random Thought of' the Day: I'm too tired to think of one. Oh yeah. DON"T TEXT AND DRIVE! Just don't do it! I don't. I don't even drive since I don't have a car. But its' become a National problem and should be illegal in more states. So DON"T DO IT! The End.*

The Great Dr. Seuss once said, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." Ok, so the tears were almost uncontrollable this weekend. I had my final, and amazing, experience of taking part in the 30th Annual Spring Sing this weekend. It was AWESOME! All 3 performances were fantastic! I'm in a little bit of awe at the fact that it's already over and that I will never perform again in the Acapella choir at Eastern Arizona College. Thursday night, I cried at the end, but only a little. Friday, I didn't cry until I was talking to my mom about it after the show. And today, I cried through half of our final song, "Greatful", and when we circled the auditorium, with the alumni of the past 30 years joining us to sing "The Lord Bless You and Keep You"(Acapella choir sings this every Friday at 12:45), I barely sang at all, unable to control the tears, knowing that that was the last time I will sing in that auditorium, with the choir and Dr. Bishop. So I cried because it was over, but I will always have a smile on my face whenever I talk about, or even think of, the experiences I have had with EA's music department.

It's been great being able to spend time with friends during the concerts. Grandma Kay and a friend came Thurs and took me dinner before the show-it was awesome! I also enjoyed having my family here for Friday night's show. We also went to the Gila Valley Temple open house this morning. It is SOOOO beautiful! Very small temple, but I loved every part of it! I'm sad that I won't be able to be in Arizona when they do the dedication in a couple of weeks. Will be wonderful I'm sure. Here's some pics of this weekend and the temple and such! Gila Valley, AZ Temple!

I won't ever forget this weekend. It's been incredible. I love all my friends and above all, I love the music we have shared together. It's helped me more than anything!

I can't believe how fast time is going. 13 Days til Graduation. 14 Until I move away. I'm nearly done with all my projects/english paper. Did I get any of it done today? No. Which means my Monday will be busy since I don't do homework on Sundays. Oh well. I had to play a little this weekend:) Anyway, I'm to the point that I will be starting to pack more, along with studying for finals, etc. I'm so ridiculously busy, I'll be glad when even finals week hits because then I just have to study and pack that week. I'm still in search of a job in Farmington. Have I had time to look anymore recently? No. I did get 5 applications in last weekend and have yet to make some phone calls. Happy day! Wish me luck!

Well, it's late on a Saturday night and I've had a long day! And there's your quick update until next time! I hope all is well with everyone! Thanks for all your support to me! TTFN!

Taking Time: To enjoy every last moment

*Random Thought of the Day:
#1: Trip to New York City-a few hundred $$$$.

#2: I LOVE this dress-$38

#3: God's creations-PRICELESS.

The End.*

18 days til graduation, now including weekends, and 19 days til I move away! That many days, and so far, 2 boxes packed. Basically, I got extremely sick of some of my clutter and decided to go threw and downsize/de-clutter and put some things in boxes. I AM EXTREMELY OCD about clutter. Which is going to be interesting since within the next couple of weeks, my room will seem to re-clutter itself as I pack and try to keep organized with my school work. Today, I got yet another thing done and over with! For the past couple of months, I have been planning a special program for my ward Sacrament Meeting and today it happened! There were 4 speakers and 4 musical numbers, all topic(d) around Joseph Smith and the Restoration of the Gospel. It went so great! I was so stressed about it-you all know me:) But everyone did awesome! I actually got to sing in a quartet for it as well. We sang an arrangement that I did, of Joseph Smith's First Prayer. That was one of the most stressful parts in preperation for this program, was getting that arrangement done, learned and performable, but I feel that it went well. The Spirit was really strong in the meeting today! I'm so greatful to those who participated in the program. The last couple of weeks have been the worst as far as being busy. Last Thursday, I was gone by 815 in the morning and except for a couple of 10 min stops at home during the day, I didn't get back home for good until 930 that night. Yeah-I'm THAT busy. I love it so much though because you wouldn't believe how fast time has gone by!

Tonight, I will be graduating from Institute! Some of us from the A capella choir will also be singing at that graduation. Should be great! This week is the 30th Annual Spring Sing! And my final choir performances with Eastern Arizona College. It's the final of everything. And I feel like, though ridiculosly busy, I'm finally starting to enjoy my final moments and final memories with friends here. Because it's all not going to last much longer. I'm searching constantly for more of my future, as I head into it. Wish me luck!

I hope you all have a really great week and that life brings you good dreams and happy memories. Cherish them.

Dream Story....Keep breathing!

*Random Thought of the Day: One day, Rachelle and Lady Gaga met on Mars, while discovering life. Rachelle said to Lady Gaga-"I live in a giant bucket." Lady Gaga responded, "Your mom!" And they skipped off into the sunset, living happily ever after.
The End.*
It's a beautiful day in....Thatcher! (HA! You thought I was going to say the neighborhood huh...in your face!)
Well, it is a beautiful day and there have been many beautiful days lately. If there's one thing I really like about Thatcher is the weather during the Spring. It's perfect and puts me in a better motivated mood believe it or not. It also lifts my flirting level up...but we don't have to talk about that:)

This week was really great. Mostly because I accomplished basically everything I wanted to. SHOCKING, I know. My biggest accomplishment was, finally finishing a real arrangement. In 2 weeks, my ward's sacrament meeting will be centered around Joseph Smith and the Restoration. I've been planning this special program for months. We will have 4 speakers speak on 4 different topics around the main topics and 4 special musical numbers. One of those numbers I will be part of because the song I arranged is a 4 part version of "Joseph Smith's First Prayer." So, me and 3 others will sing that as part of the program. I'm really excited about it and everything is coming together nicely.
It certainly is crunch time. Between, homework, practicing, concerts, recitals, english papers, planning my roommates bridal shower, etc etc etc, I really don't get home til between 330 and 5 everyday, leaving between 8 and 930 in the mornings. But I love that time is goin by so fast. 24 school days and 576 hours(more or less) until graduation. 3 weeks til I start packing. 5 weeks til finals. A few days til my recital. The list goes slightly on. Blah!

I had the opportunity twice to see EAC's musical on Thurs and Fri. Yes this was the one I tried out for in January-The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. It was a really funny play and they did a great job with it!
Yesterday, I accomplished for the 3rd time-bread! 5 loaves this time in fact! I'm pretty sure that this skill I'm learning, will attract more boys at BYU-Idaho. I'm bound to find a husband that way. haha.
Well, I don't have nothin much to say. More is BOUND to happen this week or the next. Until then. TTFNNNNNN.......singing out. No pun intended.

"A New Life in the Distance"

*Random thought of the Day: from Oscar Wilde's, The Importance of Being Ernest, "Girls never marry the men they flirt with. Girls don't think it right." Why this quote? It just made me laugh a lot because I think I am that kind of girl right now. I'm having so much fun flirting and having fun, which is why I'm not married or entirely ready to settle down yet. However, I just gotta keep flirting til I really catch a guys attention that I really am interested in. The End.*

There was something I somehow forgot to mention in my last blog. I'm going to BYU-Idaho! Haha-how could I forget you ask? Well, I'm just forgetful and it was only a big deal at first I suppose:) It's for sure my plan now. I found out that I'll automatically be able to transfer right into the music program up there. So as of now, music is the plan. It feels right so I think it will all work out. I'm extremely excited to move to Idaho and see bigger and better things! I'll move up the beggining of September-just a week before school starts! More details to come!School has gotten busier than ever. No, for reals this time. I'm constantly working on my music projects, homework, test studying, english work, preparing for a special Joseph Smith/Restoration sacrament meeting in just 3 weeks, preparing Jessie's bridal shower in a few weeks, preparing for recitals, concerts. Yeah. It's crazy. Roughly 30 school days until graduation. I KNOW! A music major friend and I were working on theory homework the other day, and she asked, "Rachelle, why do we do this to ourselves?" She and other music majors are busier than I am, which is saying something. I do wonder why I do this. Others often wonder why I do this. Little do they understand, I wouldnt' do this music major thing and being busy, if I didn't love it. I may not be the smartest or strongest music major, but I love what I learn and what I can accomplish. Feeling accomplished is a great feeling-not as a pride thing, but anyone I'm sure feels that way, especially if they can't always accomplish things. Now I'm just rambling:)

It is Easter Weekend! So Happy Easter to everyone! I've been able to spend the whole weekend with my family. I got a ride with a friend to Mesa on Friday evening and met the family at the temple. The temple looks so gorgeous this time of year, with all the flowers and such. I took the opportunity, of course, to pertain to my obsession of taking pictures of flowers. I've been told I should work for National Geographic:) I do certainly enjoy taking pictures of nature! We went to Cracker Barrel-which is delish! Also-after dinner, while looking around the gift shop in the resteraunt, this girl comes over by me and kinda stares at me for a minute. Me, not being too observant had to do a double take before I realized that it was one of my very good friends from high school, whom I am pretty sure I haven't seen since we graduated! Elisha Gibbs! I totally ran into her at the resteraunt. It had been forever since we talked too! So we stood there and caught up for a while. She works and will be attending school in Mesa. It was great!

After dinner, we drove to Sun City to stay the night with Duane's parents.
Saturday morning, we spent in Phoenix with Duane's family aka friends, doing a picnic and easter egg hunt for the kids. I also climbed a rock/cliff barefoot. Yeah-i'm just that cool;) It was a gorgeous day! After some time at the park, we headed up the mountain to Show Low. We took a stop in Payson, where I met up with another friend(this time on purpose)-Ian Harvey. He used to live in Show Low and teaches school in Payson. It was good to see him too. Last night, we just hung out and watched Sherlock Holmes. It's such a great and clever movie! If you haven't seen it-do!

This weekend was also of course General Conference. For those of you that watched-I hope you enjoyed the talks! I certainly did. Unfortunantly with traveling, we missed Saturday's sessions, which is ok since they come online and in next month's ensign! But I really enjoyed all that was said on Sunday. I hate to play favorites, but I just always always enjoy Richard G. Scott. He is just so excellent! Something he said today was touching to me. "Be sure to make every decision made, with the thought of 'what would the Savior have me do?'" It seems so simple, but can help in any type of decision made. I feel its something I can work on remembering more.

I also felt power and strength as President Thomas S. Monson spoke. He knows the truth of the Gospel and hearing him teach with the spirit, strengthens my spirit and my testimony. I feel his love each and every member of this church. He asked that we "Look to the Lighthouse of the Lord...It signals and never fails." I know this to be true if we do look for the Lord and his light at all times in our life.

It's been a great weekend. And relaxing! Much needed. And I go back this evening to continue on with the last 30 school days til graduation! WOOT! I hope all is well with everyone. TTFN!

Rumors, Great Friends, and It's all going to my Head

*Random Thought of the Day: Gosh I love nyquil....not. So, nyquil, along with clariten, advil, echinacia, and advil, cure a sinus cold. Luckily. Otherwise I'd probably feel worse still and end up with a 3 week sinus infection just like last year about this time. WARNING: Keep yourselves healthy and hand sanitized and if you have kids-drug them with their daily vitamins. Being sick is no fun! The End.*

Oh my gosh oh my gosh you guys! Sorry-that was a little blonde... Wow. I tell you what wow! I've had one amazing, wierd, cool, fun, awkward, hilarious week! and a half! Allow me to begin with my 6th, and final, music tour with EAC!
We toured up in the white mountains this year. Yep-my hometown of Show Low was included. We went there, Joseph City, St. Johns, Heber, Holbrook, and last, yet definantly least, Snowflake. Haha-sorry-just kidding to all you snowflake fans! So we toured in the cold and had somewhat of an enjoyable time! I always enjoy tour for the sake of entertaining myself with the flirting of the boys and hanging out with my girls and of course the inspirational performances! A picture is however, worth a thousand words...
Audra, Destiny, me and Karen-our version of the emotional girl in a black in white movie we watched(:

Me and my Fruitsnack pals-Taylor and Jeff. We share fruitsnacks and laughter in choir.
A Capella Choir

Me, Devon and Mike-we're just awesome!

Choir tour this year was pretty fun. Not as fun as past ones, but I'm really about to the point of being "over" acapella choir. As great as its been, its very near time to say goodbye.

After tour, Spring Break started! Woohoo! I went to Show Low and hung out with my family for the weekend. Then on Sunday evening, I drove my mom's truck to Mesa. When I arrived, I went and saw my brother Brandon and his wife Jenn. Hadn't seen them or talked to them in forever so that was a nice visit. Then I went and saw the Hofelings-my former seminary teacher and his family-they are just terrific!
Then, I headed over to Kendra's where I would be staying the next couple of nights! I met up with her and we were up til 330 Am. Needless to say, the boys that we were hanging out with were cute hee hee. Yeah well, it was my spring break and the boys were cute ok?!!
The next day, I got to see my beautiful niece and nephews for the first time in forever! Their dad met me at a nearby park with the kids and I played with them for a while. Didn't get pics of all of them but here's a couple! I miss my favorite kids!
After some time in the sun, I met up with Kendra again and we went to the Chandler Mall and met up with my dear Cassidi! Naturally we found something cute to wear and took pictures! Only with Cassidi! After some fun at the mall, Kendra and I went back to Mesa and got cute so we could go out with the same boys as the night before(: We hung out with them again until about 2 am or so. Yeah haha.
Tues morning, I got up and drove to Phoenix where my sis Steph is staying. So I visited with her for a while and then decided i'd better head back to Show Low. After getting lost and almost heading to California, I finally got back to Mesa and then on to Show Low. Gotta love getting lost in the valley!
Wednesday and Thursday I just hung out in Show Low, and developed my sinus cold too. Bleh! I did however get to go to the temple on Wednesday night with a few friends. It was a really quick session but peaceful, which is what I needed.
Yesterday, Friday, me and the fam drove down here to Tuscon! Today we got up early and drove an hour and a half to Kartchner Caverns. Pretty sweet. We also hit up the "famous" Tombstone. Pretty cool too. We walked around and looked at alot of little shops and ate a great lunch while watching a fun gun show!
This picture here-what a woman! This is is what I want to do sometimes to boys(:
Duane has family history in tombstone and likes all the western type stuff. But the rest of us enjoyed it too! Good busy day.
Tomorrow I head back to Thatcher. I am so very NOT ready to start school again. (I think I just said a double negative...or maybe a postitive negative?) haha. Anyway-I am excited to see my friends again though. You miss people you get attached to after not seeing them for a week. Especially my friends that I got closer to on choir tour. I'm pretty sure my friends is something I'll miss the most when I leave EA. I'll probably cry:/
Well-Hope you all enjoyed all the pics and excitements in my recent life! Have a great week everyone!

*Random Thought of the Day: My "Man Blanket" has been invaded by a man! I know right?! This man below, or lets just call him a boy,

ruined my blanket! My favorite blanket! Ah! Ok, as seen in the yes-I-know-the-picture-is-blurry, there are stickers all over it from a so-called "Grassy field"! Because I let Kyle lay on my blanket, my dear blanket broke out in stickers! Poor thing! How could I have let this happened? No idea. It was Kyle's idea to go stargazing. (Yes, we did go actual stargazing so don't get any ideas or thoughts in your head-I'm not dating this boy-EVER-especially since he almost ruined my favorite blanket). Anyway, after combing, yes combing, and lintrolling and picking, we got most of the stickers out. And then I washed it, which didn't really work, but it is better than it was. It was a travesty, sham AND a mockery. Sorry Felshaw-I stole your line(: Hmmm. Well whatever-I guess I can forgive Kyle someday for this....The End.*
Well what else is going on? Oh, here's another random thought. Only in Thatcher....
would you see this randomly going down the street of your neighborhood....(:
Well life is going good. Everything is going by so fast, but slow at the same time. This past week, nothing exciting happened really. I am looking forward more to this week because my spring break starts early on wednesday, due to my choir tour! Woot we are going to the white mountains! So, I'll just stay up there on Friday and hang out for most of my spring break. More details later.
Ok-this blog is somewhat pointless because i have nothing to say, but I did want to put my random thoughts up and let you all know that I'm still alive.
Have a grand week!
